Aithos to Present Research at PCAIDE 2026 in Paris

We will share our latest research on AI moral alignment and accountability at the Paris Conference on AI & Digital Ethics.

Aithos will participate at the Paris Conference on AI & Digital Ethics (PCAIDE 2026) in June, to share our latest research on AI moral alignment and accountability and to ensure our findings and our methods for analyzing AI behavior are shared with the broader scientific community.

Our Contributions to PCAIDE 2026

Participating in international conferences allows us to validate our research through peer review and collaborate with experts from diverse fields. At the event, Executive Director Daan Henselmans and Research Scientist Dr. Arno Libert will present three projects:

  • Moral Competence Before Moral Content: An analysis of the prerequisites needed for effective value alignment in AI.
  • Measuring AI Accountability Through Argumentation Analysis: A study on whether AI reasoning can withstand rigorous scrutiny.
  • Authority Bias Under Pressure: Research investigating how AI-generated clinical summaries are influenced by the professional status of the user.

This work is central to our broader mission of bringing technical choices out of the "black box" and into the sphere of public and academic deliberation. This research supports our ongoing mission to move away from technical "black boxes" toward a more transparent and pluralistic approach to AI governance.
