Aithos Releases Policy Plan 2025-2028

We published a comprehensive policy plan outlining principles and recommendations for responsible AI governance and alignment.

Aithos is pleased to announce the official publication of our Policy Plan for the 2025-2028 period. This document outlines our strategic objectives and our commitment to bringing AI value choices back into the public sphere.

Our Roadmap to 2028

Over the next three years, Aithos will focus on three core pillars to ensure AI reflects the diversity of the people it serves:

• Making Values Visible: We are developing tools and visualizations to reveal the hidden moral trade-offs within AI systems.
• Facilitating Plurality: Rather than searching for one "perfect" set of AI values, we aim to allow different worldviews to coexist without one dominating the others.
• Democratizing Governance: We are focused on developing the methods and frameworks needed for democratic deliberation, helping ensure that AI governance structures accommodate diversity rather than eliminate it.

The challenge is not to reach a consensus on which values are 'right,' but to develop mechanisms where different value systems can be made transparent and discussed publicly.
